Bayonet lug??
Yes it does, finding a bayonet to fit will be the trickier part. But according to Century Arms, "Hungarian Type 1 AK bayonet" should fit.
Hi Robert, I just verified this barrel is stamped (CAL. 223 REM / 5.56 NATO).
Cleaning rod
yes the cleaning rod is included
Not recommended. 5.56 is a higher pressure round. A firearm marked 5.56 can safely fire both 5.56 and 223. A firearm marked 223 only should not. It can fire 5.56 but there would be warranty and safety issues associated with doing this.
