Yes Glenn, this rifle comes with a "Cold hammer forged chrome lined 16.5" Barrel.
Any Magpul AK-47 magazine will work Matthew. Just not the AK-74 Magazines.

Canted Sights
You shouldn't have an issue Walden. Just to be safe, you should always inspect the firearm carefully when you are at the transfer. If the sights are canted you can always refuse the transfer and send it back to buds. hope that helps!
