I saved for two years to buy one of these shotguns in 2016, it would not cycle shells consistently magnum or field loads and if it was below 20 degrees would not cycle at all. Emailed Benelli still waiting on parts. In mean time friend told me to throw aw

Great gun

The reason why i gave it 4 star is because its advertised as 5+1 which is not the case. The shotgun itself comes with a mag limiter which will only fit 1+2. You would have to remove the limter (which is this annoying little orange stick inside the mag) an

Perfect Gun

My main gun is a SBE-II 28" and I wouldn't trade it for any other gun in the world, but when skeet shooting with my wife, she couldn't quite handle the 12 gauge. We decided to buy the 26" 20 gauge for her in September of 2015 and I have been inc

Substantial kick.

This is a well made, smooth cycling shotgun. But I have to agree with a previous post about the kick, which is substantial. My previous shotgun is a Rem. 1100 trap model, which may be the softest shooting shotgun around. Also, the magazine spring on the M

One gun for all needs

If you've ever heard someone say that 80% of wild game is taken by 10% of the hunters. I am that 10%. I hunt everything in season, several times a week and I wanted just one shotgun, so I went with the M2. I couldn't be happier. This gun performs flawless

Great sporting clays gun

I specifically chose a 20 gauge semi-auto for sporting clays as I wanted a gun that was light and had low recoil, one that I could shoot for hours. The Benelli M2 exceeded my expectations. It is well made, easy to field strip and clean, and a lot of fun t

The listing is for a Benelli M2 American, but the picture and the price are for the Benelli M2 Field. The Field is made in Italy and has the nicer Comfortech stock and forearm with the little chevron inserts on the side of the stock as depicted in the pic

Kicks like a mule!

I bought the M2 after years of shooting a 1100. I killed my limit on it's first dove hunt which I had never done before. I didn't give it a five rating because of the recoil. Benelli has a great recoil pad installed but it's not a soft shooting gun.

Ultra Reliable

I've quite literally gone through thousands of rounds with this gun. I have immediate access to land I can shoot clays on. I would shoot this gun three to four days out of every seven day week. I went through at least a hundred rounds during each session.
