February 9, 2022Nice Revolver with retro looks. Good bluing and shoots good. Shoots a little low like all my Charter Arms, but easy to compensate for. The frame is machined even with the back strap and very few sharp edges. The grips are pretty, but some sadist left a sh

February 9, 2022I ordered my Bulldog Classic and picked it up from my FFL a week later. Buds did a great job with communication via email about the purchase and shipping. This is not my first Charter Arms revolver, so I knew what to expect. Charters are not as smooth as

February 9, 2022I owned a Chater Arms .44 Special 3” Bulldog back in the late 80’s but sold it for some stupid reason. I recalled it as a very potent lightweight big bore revolver. In subsequent years I came to understand that Charter Arms had discontinued the Bulldog 3”

February 9, 2022First, my compliments to Buds for once again super service. I signed up for Team Buds wondering if it was worth it and It was. They got this gun to me before Christmas which I thought would be next to impossible. Now for the gun. A Charter Arms classic .4

February 9, 2022Tooling marks from what appears to be worn equipment in the manufacturing process. The workmanship is not equal to another Charter Arms I own, but it isn't bad enough to give it 3 stars. It is highly polished and 95 percent of the gun is perfect. I lean t

February 9, 2022First off these guns are hard to find, so when you find it in stock you need to jump on it. The gun is very light weight and it comes with the rubber grips not the wood ones that was pictured. The grips do feel good though and absorb the recoil very well.

February 9, 2022I just came back from the range after putting about a 100 rounds through my 3" blued Bulldog .44 Special. More about that in a moment. First, right out of the box I found a very handsome, lightweight, and ergonomic (to my hand) revolver. As I checked it

February 9, 2022Its not a bad revolver nor is it a great one. The finish is a little on the hit and miss side. Some of the bluing is a little thin in some of the areas, frame and cylinder. The sights are crude. The front sight isn't flat on top, one edge is higher than t

February 9, 2022The only negative is that the revolver arrived with rubber grips and not wood as shown in the picture. There are some minor areas of missed bluing (on the trigger guard and the shell ejector), but all in all a good value for the money. Seems to be well ma

February 9, 2022I had one of these back in 1981 but this gun is much more pretty. The bluing on this gun is excellent and the craftsmanship is excellent. Accuracy at 7 yards with PMC was 3-inch groups. Now the bad news. The gun was hanging up every 4th round regardless

February 9, 2022I always wanted one of these, and it has lived up to expectations! A large bore in a light package; has a smooth trigger pull with little or no creep, and it pretty much hits where you aim. What more can you ask for? Excellent service from Bud's!!

February 9, 2022This firearm represents the return of one of Charter Arms most popular classics, since 1973, and I've wanted to own one since then. Having ordered and received my BullDog Classic .44 from Bud's Gun Shop in a timely manner; after a visit with it to the ran

February 10, 2022I have a 4" target bulldog 44 spl that I have had since about 1978. It has never malfunctioned & that large hole in the muzzle has kept me out of trouble several times - never underestimate the power of intimidation!
