This is a basic, no-frills .38 snubnose. So far, I've put 100 rds of Fiocchi FMJ through it and 20 rds Federal .38 +P JHP and every one of them went "bang!" Being 16 oz you feel the +P stuff but it's not excruciatingly painful, You just notice a bit more

Very disappointed in the reliability. Bought mine November 2009. The transfer bar on mine broke twice just dry firing. Shot only regular .38 specials, maybe 100 rounds at most. Charter replaced it the second time it broke. Just picked up the replacement.

I'm very impressed with this little puppy. I had a S&W years ago and I think CA is ever bit as good. The only problem is that my wife wants it! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a reliable weapon.
