Not a Ruger or a SW, but mild shooting. Use as carry in summertime in pocket. Only issue is if do not reload than no H&R fmj available to practice with. Usually can find lswc, lwc or SD rounds in 20 or 25 pks. SG had some 32 sw lrn that I bought to shoot
