Manufacturer: CVA CR5800 Item: 3-0137035 UPC: 043125805808 The CVA Hunter break action rifle features an easily maneuverable, 20" blued-steel barrel and black synthetic stock. Both offer exceptionally long life as well as great accuracy. The barrel is drilled and tapped to accept the CVA DEAD-ON scope mount. This rifle comes fitted with a 100% ambidextrous stock, and a reversible cocking spur. The CrushZone recoil pad is designed to handle recoil exceptionally well for shooters who are recoil sensitive. The Hunter also features an automatic hammer blocking safety system that positively prevents the firearm from discharging before the trigger is pulled. CVA 35 Rem. What can I say? I'm 2 for 2 with this rifle on deer. Both shots were with-in 25 yds. I hunt close on deer trails. Neither deer went past 25 yds using Hornady 200 gr FTX. 1 1/2" grps at 100 yds when sighted in. Cant complain for a single shot.

Haven't shot it yet, but in my opinion far superior to H&R or Rossi upon first inspection. Build quality seems top notch. Can't wait to see how it shoots.

The product arrived as described. The rifle was badly blemished from the factory. The bluing was horrible and was coming off. It also had a few scratches. I called CVA and they sent prepaid label and replaced the rifle. CVA said that their hunters rifles
