gun great - Scope really poor

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my son. I bought them on sale and considered them a real bargain.Both guns have been fired maybe 30 times.

I used to have to take aim and hope that the Powder Charge, would ignite. Not any more. Not only does it shoot but it shoots accurately. it puts deer on the Cart, and in the Freezer.

Review after 2 seasons

Ive hunted with this setup the last 2 seasons. I have ZERO complaints, not even on the Konus scope and I'm a Vortex guy. I don't shoot the magnum loads...no need to. With 2 50gr 777 pellets, the Hornady SST and 777 primers, I'm punching the same hole at 1

Great Rifle with Great Scope

Zeroed this rifle in 3 shots out of the box ! Rifle is accurate! I'm comfortable shooting at 150yd ! 200yd if he's a Monster!!! This rifle is really easy to unload. The 209 primers easily come out with your finger tips . Make sure you clean the bore well

Upgrade from sidelock

Great buy

Shoots well and with the break action it is easy to install the primer. The removable breech plug also make it easy to clean. I was also impressed with the scope. If you want a muzzle loader, This is a great buy.

Great Gun

Had it sighted in 5 shots at 100 yards . The scope is nice and clear . The book on the scope has a chart for the loads and bullet combo's . No reason one should miss . Taped mine to the stock for a quick reference . All ready for deer season now .

1st muzzleloader. Outstanding gun right out of the box. Group from 50 yards 2 inches from center. Better than anticipated. Buy the CVA cleaning products and watch the video on how to clean. Very easy.

CVA Rifles Rock

Both the Acura V2 and the Optima V2 are extremely nice guns. I have shot both. If you don't care about the slightly higher-end Bergara barrel then the Optima is the way to go!BOTH are identical in sharing the same trigger parts and assemblies, etc.I found

Awesome deal
