Is the barrel threaded to the action?
Hi Michael, Yes it is Theaded, 452 Barrel in 22lr is threaded into the action and all 455's are slip fitted with grub screws to be able to change out barrels to different calibers.

Wayne, the 455 Varmint will have better accuracy all day long. Expect about a quarter inch better accuracy if the shooter is up to the task.

Barry, it should be Double Action/Single Action. This means the pistol has a heavy 1st trigger pull then subsequent lighter trigger pulls for the rest of the shots. It is somewhat of a safety feature. Some details here : luckygunner.com/lounge/learning-do
