In the hands of a competent hunter, the CZ-USA Reaper Magnum is one extremely effective turkey hunting gun. With optics and modern turkey loads, it's one of the most reliable and highly versatile break-action shotguns any discerning hunter can get his hands on. Because of its over-and-under barrel configuration, anyone carrying this shotgun can take out gobblers from a wider range of distances making it superior to a single-barreled shotgun. The dual barrels can be set up such that one can be loaded to take turkey from under 30 yards while the other can be loaded for longer distances. With the Reaper Magnum's barrel selector switch that can be easily flipped before pulling the trigger, the hunter gets to choose which barrel to shoot first. With its barrels measuring 26 inches each, the CZ Reaper Magnum has enough room to take advantage of higher-velocity loads designed for taking turkey at longer ranges than most other shotguns, but its overall length still makes it relatively easy to maneuver in tight spaces when needed. It comes standard with a bead sight, but as hunters prefer to use optics, it also has a removable Picatinny rail mounted on the vented rib just above the top barrel.
