The Diamondback DB9 is a micro-compact 9mm automatic polymer framed pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB9 features a in Zero-Energy in striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion. It is available in several different model options, including the exclusive EXO nickel boron slide finish, an extended compensated barrel, night sights, or colored frames.

Safe to carry with a round chambered?

As long as the trigger isn’t pressed it shouldn’t go off. Carrying with a round chambered is more of a personal preference. I carry a Glock 43 chambered and I understand the the extra risk in doing so. I also understand the risk in not doing so.

The spring will probably degrade about 1/16 inch in 5 years if it is kept loaded and depressed so keeping it loaded is not an issue. Springs wear when you load and shoot and the spring is constantly worked up and down and should be replaced yearly if you

Adam, this is a Gen II pistol. This pistol was recently restocked which accounts for the price different. Prices are directly tied to stock numbers at Buds. The price will rise as the level of stock goes down.
