Chambered in the hard-hitting 40 S&W, The FNS™-40 offers the simplicity of double-action striker-fired operation with the additional security of a manual safety. All operating controls are fully ambidextrous for ease of use with either hand and from any shooting position. Three-dot night sights are standard with the innovative Deep-V rear sight notch for faster, more precise sighting. Both the slide and barrel are stainless steel with front serrations, while the checkered polymer frame has two interchangeable backstraps and lanyard eyelets. The MIL-STD 1913 under-frame rail accepts tactical lights and lasers.

February 10, 2022This is without a doubt the best striker fired pistol on the market. FN hyped up the 509 I don't own a 509 yet but I do have this exact same pistol bought from PSA when they were on sale for a crazy low price. I bought the FNS 4" 9MM and the 9 C.

February 10, 2022Very well-made firearm with excellent handfeel. Despite the authoritative .40 caliber bang, the recoil is modulated by construction and overall weight. Night sights are great. Trigger pull is two-stage which takes some practice. Love the ambidextrous
