Fun and Functional

I bought this about a week ago and took it to the range. It had no malfunctions at all. I thought by looking at the picture online it would be cheap plastic, but it is made of I feel quality construction and material. I looks great and is lots of fun to s

Purchased as a Christmas present for my son. We've had it to the range once and it performed flawlessly (even using cheap Tula ammo). Was able to get it sighted in with 5 rounds @ 50 yards. Pretty accurate considering we bought silhouette targets with red

This weapon has done everything I have asked it to do. It is accurate out to at least 75 yards. I have not shot it any distance farther than that, but a 16 ounce water battle is a easy target at 75 yards. It has cycled every time, no miss fires and being

I recently purchased a Hi-Point 9mm Carbine with Red Dot Scope, I have been very satisfied with gun. I took it out of the box shot it with regular sights and didn't require much adjusting to get it spot on. Installation of red dot scope was simple and req

BAD: The ergonomics on this thing SUCK. The safety is harder to reach than Cox customer service (and never works when it's supposed to), the mag release requires two hands and a GPS to locate, the length of pull is longer than the line for the terlet duri

I just took this to the range and put 200 rounds through it. 8 FTFs were a big disappointment. I used three Hi-Point different mags, but there was no single culprit. It could have been the ammo (Magtech), but I had zero problems with 50 rounds through my

DO NOT buy this weapon unless you are really familiar with guns and how to work on them. The scope is not mounted and the instructions for doing so are practically non-existent. You have to remove the rear sight to supposedly mount the Red Dot scope. In d

Ordered on the 18th of December and received on the 29th. Probably due to the holidays As for the gun all I can say is SWEET. Got it home , cleaned it. It wasn't dirty but I always like to make sure nothing is sticking. The magazine did stick but a touch

Great gun for the money. Great gun for more than your money. No FTFs or FTEs. Works with any ammo I feed it. Great accuracy/groups to 100 yards. Haven't tried further distances as long distances are not why I bought it. Also has some great after market it

I've had a Hi-Point C9 for several years and since it is amazingly dependable and never a single problem and has an AMAZING warranty, several of my friends and family have bought one. Knowing this, when Hi-Point made the carbine I wanted one!!! I finally

I ordered this gun Thursday night and it arrived at the FFL Wednesday. I took a vacation day Thursday and shot 100 rounds through it. Love this gun so far. Not sure if I like the steel sights better then the red dot.

This carbine is much smaller than I thought. It is shorter and lighter than my Ruger 10/22. My son really likes it because it is the perfect size for him and he can easily hold it. The carbine does not have any rattles or loose pieces. All the parts seem

Howard, the springs are still hit or miss in my opinion. The newer models have been coming with better functioning magazines from Hi-Point (less complaints) so you should not stress too much. You may or may not need the fix but, it's there if you do.

Hi Stephen, This is a stock picture. The scope isn't included. I'm not sure why they haven't fixed this.

William, The steel in the barrel of this fine firearm is 4140 (40% carbon). As you know due to the question 4150 means there is a higher carbon content in the steel (50%) then 4140. That said the Melonite QPQ finish/impregnation gives a level of hardness

Howard, For years shooters on a budget have been singing the praises of Hi-Point Firearms, relying on their firearms to defend their families and homes from miscreants of the 2 and 4 legged variety. The Hi-Point Carbine is built to run, and has a solid re

Hi Joshua, there is no difference. Both barrels are identical 16-1/8" barrel sports a 1:8 twist with 5R rifling and a Melonite QPQ finish for amazing accuracy. Chambered in .223 Wylde, it's optimized for performance with both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington.
