JC Higgins 101.1 (94C) 20GA Complete Specs and Full Gun Specifications

J.C. Higgins Model 101.1 is a single shot shotgun made by Savage/Stevens (Model 94C) for Sears & Roebuck Co. It was made with barrel lengths from 26 to 36 inches. The Savage/Stevens date code is a 1/4" diameter circle located between the trigger guard and hinge pin on the bottom of the receiver or on the barrel which contains one or two numbers and a letter. The letter is the date code which began in 1949; A = 1949, B = 1950, C = 1951, D = 1952, etc.
