February 9, 2022You can't miss with this!!
I am in LOVE with this gun. As another reviewer mentioned, this is a sexy little gun, but I hit the target on the first shot "out of the box"! My eye sight and old man hands don't let me sit there and measure a 3,4,or 5 inch grouping, so for me

February 9, 2022What's The fuss About?
So I bought this Carbine a while ago (almost a year ago) and can say that it shoots fine despite the reveiws. It does use a lot of lube to keep the slider moving without hesitation but everything about it is worth it. From how the stock feels to the point

February 9, 2022Sling Fit
After buying my M-1 Carbine, I couldn't attach the sling because both the oiler with sling were too thick to fit in the slot in the stock. I bought a black tension pin, 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" long to replace the oiler. I don't have an oiler in the

February 9, 2022My New M1 Carbine from Auto-Ordnance
I ordered the Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine online on Thursday night. Cabelas notified me on Friday the rifle was ready for pick-up. Great Job Cabelas! The rifle has a beautiflul medium colored walnut stock and very nice fit and trim. I field stripped the rifl

February 9, 2022Oiler and sling issue
The opening for the oiler in the stock is 1/16 smaller than on my GI M1 Carbine and the sling that came with the rifle was much thicker than the one on my GI M1 Carbine so the oiler would not fit. I ordered a sling and oiler that matched the one on the GI

February 9, 2022Few bugs, easy fix
Like most who have purchased this firearm I ran into numerous feed issues from the outset. I figured I'd run around 150 rounds through it and see what happened. By the time I got through the 150 the feed problems were cut in half. Encouraged by these resu

February 9, 2022Auto Ord. M-1 Carbine
I don't put blame on Cabela's for this disaster called a firearm.5 different ammo, 4 different magazines, gun would not feed, extract, or eject reliably, and it was firing out of battery, slide not fully locked. In addition to that, there was damage,(cosm

February 9, 2022why 3 stars? Average***
first off... it is a sexy gun do not get me wrong, but the oiler it came with did not fit the gun with the sling. I literally had to make my own piece to fit in for the sling. When i went to shoot the gun the first time it was perfect but as i used a vari

February 9, 2022The gun has been 100% reliable, once I tossed the magazine they gave me in the garbage and use military mags. Light recoil so my wife likes shooting it. Anyone who is thinking about interchanging parts from WW2 M1 Carbines on this will be disappointed. Mo

February 9, 2022After buying an Auto Ordinance 1927A1 Thompson and being very pleased, I thought I would try the M1 carbine. Glad I did. It looks like it could have been built in 1943 and never issued. After market mags fit and work fine. If you intend to hunt with it, l

February 9, 2022I am very happy to purchase this carbine. I have compared it to my WWII M1 and the finish is very similar. Functions great. I replaced the rear sight right away as this old style version is a bit of a pain. There are plenty of aftermarkets that tap right

February 9, 2022I wrote an earlier review stating what SG had pictured was not the weapon they were selling and, it was not. However, they have corrected that now and the picture does reflect the actual rifle SG is selling. Since I posted the negative review on SG showin

February 9, 2022Functions flawlessly. Rain stopped me from shooting a lot of ammo. Mag that came with it would not seat fully and required a few file strokes on the front. Wood is very nice light and fun gun. Trigger pull impressively smooth.
