February 9, 2022Good shotgun for the money with all the upgrades you receive. LOP is a good fit, the front sight is better than the standard bead. Mine did not come with a sling, called mossberg and they are sending one out. Good overall value on the proven 500 action.

Either the size of the chamber or the size of the barrel, 40 would likely denote .40 mm vs .35 mm. So it's slightly larger. Hope this helps :)

Terry, the Thunder Ranch is a very good home defense shotgun. I however went with the 590 due to the 8 + 1 Shell capacity. Either will be extremely effective as a home defense shotgun.
No, always get the base 10mm Glock. It is designed from the ground up to handle the extra oomph of the 10mm full power loads. Start with 10mm as the base and with just a conversion barrel swap you can shoot 4 calibers.(10mm, 9x25 Dillon, 40S&W and 357Sig)
