I'm a huge fan of quality guns that don't break the bank and this is one of those guns. I like it much more than the Ruger American or the Savage Axis in the same price range. Very manageable recoil for such a light rifle in 300 win mag and as always Buds

So far I like the gun. It's a little light for a magnum but to my surprise the recoil is not as bad as I had expected it to be, the recoil pad does take some bite out of the kick. The bolt was very smooth and functions well. The fluted bolt looks great. I

A+ service from Buds and an A+ product from Mossberg. The Patriot (got mine chambered in .300 win mag) is a great bolt action gun for a great price. Already put 50 rounds down range in this rifle. Very sturdy, very solid. Highly recommended.
