February 9, 2022Great Looking revolver
Had my eye on this little beauty for some time now and finally decided to live a little and get it. I have NO NEED for it, mind you, but I have been WANTING it for a long, long time.

February 9, 2022not a good value
I thought this Pietta would be a good value. Not so. I could not fire a complete cylinder - six shots - without a misfire. I contacted EMF via email and received a stern reply and a return authorization number, but not a shipping label. It cost me 25% of

February 9, 2022Dont Buy This
I fired one shot and the transfer bar broke. There are other reviews that mention the same problem. These guns are junk. DO NOT BUY!!!

February 9, 2022Very good quality for the money
I purchased two Heritage arms SA .22 revolvers and was surprised at the quality of the revolvers for the amount of money being asked for the firearms. I was not expecting a lot when I ordered them but upon receiving them I was surprised at the quality of

February 9, 2022Excellent 44 mag
Very good product from Pietta for the 44 mag with 240 grain bullets. Feels great even with factory loads with serious recoil. Prefer reloaded rounds with starting loads of Unique Gun powder and shoots a little low. Possibly better for point of aim with 18

February 9, 2022Big time transfer bar issues
First, the good news. Pietta's guns come with a great warranty and superb customer service. If you have an issue, contact EMF in California. They're Pietta's American gun smiths at. info@emf-company.com. Now the bad news. Unlike other Pietta guns I've own

February 9, 2022Rough and crude
Terrible trigger with creep, grittiness, and a ledge at the end of travel. During cleaning and function test, the cylinder would over travel about 3 out of 10 t!!miss. The bolt releases at the right time, but sometimes doesn't lock the cylinder. I've owne

February 9, 2022Transfer Bar Disconnected less than a week
This revolver is very poor quality. I purchased it 5 days ago, went to the range to shoot 50 rounds of 38 SP next day, then the transfer bar disconnected when I practiced dry fire yesterday.

February 9, 2022Very good but...
Really do like this pistol!! Good feel, very accurate, good action. At 30' 5 out of 6 in 2" circle. #6 missed by 1/2". Only trouble I have is the tight space for finger and trigger. This is going to take some getting used to.

February 9, 2022Excellent CAS Revolver
Ordered online thru local Cabelas and received notice next day it was in. Great in-store customer service to buy pistol. Awesome weapon! Shoots, handles, feels, looks authentic. I even carry it time to time concealed for personal protection. Great value f

February 9, 2022Absolutely beautiful
It compares favorably to Colt SAAs that I have owned. The grip is great for someone like me with large paws. It is very comfortable. I would not be reluctant to use it as a home defense weapon.

February 9, 2022trigger guard slap
Feb. 2017 I bought the 45 LC case hardened model the fit and finish is very good for a gun of this price, much better than I expected. However using a mid range handload @ 1000 fps you will experience a good deal of trigger guard slap and after a a dozen

February 9, 2022Top Gun For The Money!
I bought the basic Matte Finish Pietta .357 Magnum with the 4.75 inch barrel. Like the paperwork mentions, it does shoot a little low and you can file the sight down a little to suit you. I left mine alone and learned to compensate and it works great. Thi

February 9, 2022Quality 1873 model revolver, just one caveat...
Got the basic 5½" model in 45 Colt, which has great handling, balance, feel, and looks, just like an original Colt, and most of all, shoots accurately! The only downside (one that doesn't seem too widespread, so looks like it was soon fixed by Pietta

Hey Yall,I love this gun, it has kick and power yet its quite accurate and very fun to shoot. This was my first SAA I ever owned and I honestly think I will be buying SA from now on, it adds a whole new element to the experience that with most modern guns

February 9, 2022Great gun
This is my first single action pistol, and i couldnt be more happy with it. I bought the nickle plated 357 mag and have had no problems after 200 rounds of 357 or 38 special. Sights were right on and its very accurate.

February 9, 2022.45L Octagonal Barrel, 5.5 Barrel
This is a great gun. First shot that I made hit the target, straight out of the box. I have sight in only my left eye and had no problem hitting the target. Was able to out shoot my two son's on Fathers Day. My son has the 45L Vaquero and I feel that my P

February 9, 2022.357
I purchased this gun in .357 and probably shoot as many .38 special as I do .357 through it. It is a nice throw back to days gone by. Shoots well and I am reasonably accurate with it. The gun is probably more accurate and repeatable than I am. I like the

February 9, 2022Pietta 44 Mag
I bought the 4 3/4", case hardened 44 Mag. Beautiful gun. I wanted something handy for a woods gun. I dislike long barrels on my handguns, as that's why I have rifles. This one fits the bill perfectly. It shoots low like everyone points out, but that

February 9, 2022Great value Cowboy revolver
Bought a pair of these in .357 about a year ago to get started in Cowboy Action shooting. Shot about 6 to 7 inches low out of the box, but that was easily fixed by filing down the front sight. This adjustment had the added benefit of making them easier to

February 9, 2022Very Pleasant surprise
I recently Bought the Nickle .45 Colt. While there are some finish flaws, the mechanics far out weight them. They have even used a bridged base pin, coil spring for cyl. hand instead of the unreliable flat spring. Timing is spot on. Usually with Uberti i had

February 9, 2022Good Gun.
I bought a 4 3/4 barrel length 1873 SA in .44 Mag. The fit and finish is super. Pietta makes a fine Colt style firearm. This pistol has the Colt action (cylinder is locked unless the hammer is at half cock where the cylinder is released and spins freely t

February 9, 2022.44 Equalizer
I was pleasantly surprised to find a traditional reproduction Peacemaker in .44 Rem. Magnum, as those cartridges are hotter than hells half acre, and require a substantial amount of gun to hold the pressure. With a 4 3/4" barrel, the recoil of this h

February 9, 2022Love My Pietta Revolver
I had this revolver on my wish list for over a year and when I finally got it I wasn't disappointed! I got the .357 and it's a fun little gun to shoot and build up my confidence when shooting .38's yet can give me the power when I want it with the .357. I

February 9, 2022Excellent buy for the $$$

After shooting at the range, one of several hand loads shot settled in at about a 1.25" group at 25 yards, which I was really happy with. The point of impact in relation to point of aim was aprrox. 7" low, and 4" left. The revolver function
