Purchased this firearm and I must say this is the smoothest/best trigger pull production 1911 I have ever handled. I have had all the major brands of production 1911's from Taurus to Sig. This 1911 is as smooth as my Wilson Xtac, Great value.

This is a first class 1911. Commander style with the full grip and the 4 inch barrel. The front sight is bright and easy to see even for older eyes. The grips are very nice.

Love the 1911 R1 Commander. Sportsman Guide has been great in the past, However after ordering the Remington Commander, the Guide lowered the price By 25.00 dollars.When Contacted the Guide gave me a 5.00 coupon.Time to move on.

The R1 enhanced commander is a great gun. I got it, cleaned it, oiled it and took it to the range. After 200 rounds with absolutely no stoppages of any type I feel confident saying that this gun is good to go! Real nice trigger. Grips are very aggressive

I’ve owned this pistol for 4 months now and still haven’t shot it however the fit and finish is great on this Remington. The trigger is crisp and the reset is very tacticle and audible as well. As far as I can tell it’s a great pistol. Time will tell once
