Is it harder on barrels than other varmit rounds?
It is a fact that the 220 Swift barrel will have a 35-40% shorter barrel life based solely on the 220 Swift round. ( Given the same amount of shooting, there is no way around this.
need more details. I would try a different magazine 1st. then try hand cycling with just the magazine and no rounds as its possible that the magazine catch is holding the mags to high causing drag other than that it could be a weak recoil spring
