This gun will flat shoot. Ruger has engineered out all the extra production costs but they give you as accurate a production rifle as you will find. The stock and magazine construction leave much to be desired and the bolt is a bit rough out of the gate.

This rifle is probably the best predator/varmint rifle on the market for the money. It's packed full of features and is a beautiful rifle. I paired it with the Burris 2-7x Predator Quest and ended up with an above average rifle for around $500, can't beat

Not a thing of beauty, but everything works with accuracy being around a minute with Federal Factory ammo (50 gr SP) I have loaded some Winchester and PMC 64 gr bullets and will try those next as the heavier bullet should agree more with the 1:8 twist.
