Just bought one of these from Buds. It really kicks with the 4 5/8" barrel, but at the same time it is very accurate. Function is perfect. Buds shipped mine to my FFL dealer amazingly fast!

Just received one of these. First deal with Bud's and won't be my last. My only gripe has to do with the stocks that Ruger is putting on these. They honestly feel like a poorly made set of grips on a squirt gun. Other than that, the gun seems just fine. A

I use this gun for bears in Montana when I archery hunt. I even shot a mule deer at about 70 yards. Love this gun and trust my life to it.

I traded a Ruger Redhawk to Buds guns for this New Model Blachawk in .41 caliber-they are both in the same caliber-but the Blackhawk is so much easier for me to shoot accurately. Like all Blachawks they are very well made and will withstand hunting loads
