February 9, 2022Ruger's Best 357 Revolver Ever
I purchased the Match Champion around a year ago. Rarely does a product live to all the hype you see and read online, but the Match Champion will exceed your expectations. To start with, if you took all the best features of the extremely popular (and sore

One of the best guns a person can buy, well wroth the money! The gun was dead on right out of the box. Both SA and DD action was flawless. Vary easy to clean but I fired 500 rounds with out cleaning just to see how it would fire, AND still no problems! Lik

A very accurate and well made firearm. The trigger feels smooth and breaks well and the gun feels good in the hand. I added wood grips and fiber optic sights.

February 9, 2022Exceeded expectations
The Match Champion version of the GP100 is very accurate and reliable. I purchased the adjustable sight version because I like to load my own 357's and am glad this version was available. I did put a different set of properly sized shims in it for the ham

February 9, 2022Disappointed...
I purchased the GP 100 Match Champion on the strength of lengthy research and the recommendations of so many apparently satisfied customers. When I handled it at my preferred gun dealer, the gun felt nicely balanced, and very comfortable in my hand. The t

February 9, 2022CRUDELY FINISHED
As the description says it is a rugged and reliable revolver. The fit & finish is also pretty bad. The crane is ill fitting and the polish job poor. This never would have happened when Mr. Ruger was running things. Pay a little more and get a Smith &a

February 9, 2022Impressive Hande cannon
The GP-100 in 357 with the 6 inch barrel is a visually impressive firearm. It is even more impressive on the range. I equipped mine with an easily added accessory rail and a red dot sight. Shooting 38 Special its easy to put 20 for 20 in the 8 ring or bet

February 9, 2022Great gun
I own both Ruger and S&W revolvers and the GP 100 is probably the best of the bunch! It is way over built and shows zero wear after thousands of rounds. Ruger does not include a warrentee card because they guarnatee their guns forever so ignore people

February 9, 2022Possibly the best double action on the market
I have a few pistols and revolvers. I had no double action revolvers. I decided on the .357mag caliber because the recoil would be manageable. So I set about looking for a revolver that had looks quality and functioned well. I read reviews for different m

A very functional, dependable revolver. Not as smooth or refined as a Smith or Colt, but a good value for the money. Double action is a bit of a challenge, but single action isn't too bad at all. Accuracy was a pleasant surprise to be honest. Yep, I'm not

February 9, 2022Every gunner needs this wheel gun.
The Ruger GP100 is a "must have" for anyone who fancies themselves a hand-gunner. The GP100 has the strength to handle the hottest hand-loads and the flexibility to power down to light shooting .38's. Firing this tank of a weapon with the Hogue

February 9, 2022Excellent Balance and Accurate

February 9, 2022The one to keep
I've owned them all over the last 30 years, Colt, Wesson, S&W, and Ruger. While all of them have individual attributes, no other mid-sized revolver offers the strength and solid, vault like lock up of the GP-100. Over the years, as finances periodical

February 9, 2022Top of the line revolver
Picked up a used GP100 in store. EXCELLENT revolver. No hiccups, fine craftsmanship, will stay in the family for generations. Do the research, GP100's are some of the best .357s out there, competing with S&W at a lower cost.

February 9, 2022nice job by Ruger
I have this in 357 with the 6 inch barrel. This weapon fits the hand nicely and is well balanced. I used lead bullets in handloads and can achieve about three moa at 25 yards. Still tuning my loads but I'm almost positive the gun is more accurate than me.

I have the GP100 6 inch barrel .357, and I couldn't ask more out of a revolver. It is powerful, very accurate, and just fun to shoot. I like the 6 inch, as it helps manage recoil a little more and gives you better velocity. I added a set of tritium sights
