Yes, this is still CA compliant. Models with shroud/flash hiders will be affected by new law. The laws do not impact the the M1 carbine, Mini-14, M1A, and the like in the standard configuration. Brown is trying hard though.

Hi Michael, No it doesn't come with a case. This rifle comes with (1) 5rd Magazine, comes in a Ruger Cardboard Box with owners manual, warranty registration card, cable lock and plastic chamber block.
