John, yes Sir. It will work provided you load it into the gun via moonclips. You can shoot hotter 45 Colt +P ammo, heavier bullet and faster.

No it can’t. If it was marked 454 then it would also be able to fire 45 LC but if it’s not marked 454 it will not fire 454
