Reliable pistol

Bought the Security- 9 in January.Shot over a 100 rounds of brass and steel cases,solid and hollow point. No failures of any kind. At 7 yards put rounds in the center mass of target.The Security-9 is a good value and a reliable pistol.

Great gun for price

Picked up this gun 1 week ago. I have put 100 rounds down range with it. Gun shots great! i put cheap round into it and it did not jam. I wished i would have waited one extra day. The next day it went on sale.

Very nice pistol

I've shot about 200 rounds through it using a 115 grain luger ammo. Shoots true and fits my hand really well. Well balanced and recovers from recoil quickly. I would highly recommend the RUGER SECURITY 9 as a first handgun. I made a great choice.

Security 9 hits the mark!

I bought the Ruger security 9 about 2 months ago now. Great shooter, I like it better than the M&P and the Glock 19. It is accurate and cycles just about any ammo I feed it Flawlessly. I would highly recommend this pistol for concealed carry.

The new security 9 is a lightweight and versital firearm that doesn't have the bulk of a 9mm. Easy to handle and couldn't pass up to use as one of my conceal carry firearm. Great price too!!

Have about 200 rounds through it. Runs like a top. No problems so far. I use a slide holster to carry it and when I walk, the mag is a little loose in the mag well and rattles a little. Just enough to be frustrating. Overall, good running gun though.

I used the Ruger Security-9 for qualification in the police academy and it was excellent. Very light weight and very smooth shooting. Seems to have a slight break-in period of about 500 rounds where it jammed once. I've put about 800 rounds through it
