Great gun

I bought this gun a few months ago for my son out of the box it had 1 inch groups at 50 yards it took a while to break it in but when we finally got it it shot great. My son has killed two deer with it this year.

Nice little package, Bought the 6.5 Creedmoor a few weeks back with a Weaver scope and it shoots great, zeroed in 4 shots and low recoil.

I bought this gun yesterday, unfortunately i had to take all the screws on the scope mounts off and re loc tite them and put them back (i do this with all my guns, not just academy), but great rifle, zero easy, and lightweight

Bought the gun today . Good clear scope . Zeroed in with no problems. 6.5 creedmoor shoots great . For the money you can't beat savage axis.

Scope is worthless if you purchase this combo go ahead and buy a new scope not even a box of bullets shot thru the rifle and the scope is brojen

Poor Craftsmanship

Poor craftsmanship due to discovering the weaver base screws were stripped out. Gun had to be shipped to Savage.
