I bought this gun thinking it'd be a cool little stray critter gun around the house. WRONG. The stock is horribly made of cheap thin plastic that presses hard on one side of the barrel. Savage knew they had this problem and sent me another one, same thing

Almost Perfect

Great shooter with a heavier barrel than the original version. The bull barrel helps to keep the gun cooler, the original version heated up to quickly. The bolt is stiff but it is a cock on close bolt. The trigger is outstanding, mine breaks at 1.3 lbs.!
