Fondled one at a LGS once upon a time, felt like a good rifle. If you're looking to spend the money, I say buy it. SIGs are good guns.

I have no idea. You might just give SIG a cal and ask. 603-610-3000 I'm confident the bolt carrier is properly staked, but nothing is ever 100% sure. Just call 'em up and ask. Thanks.
