I've wanted this Model 638 for a few years, but didn't want to spend the price. It's not a revolver that is made to spend all day shooting at the range. When the price met what I wanted to spend, I ordered it here. Bud's had it to my FFL in about a week,

I do like S&W's J-frames and this one did not disappoint at all. After viewing Hickok45's part 2 video on the S&W Model 638 "Bodyguard", I had to have one!!! The ability to fire in either DA or SA while having a shrouded hammer spur is a huge plus too

What does the "LE" mean?

Unknown 6 years ago

Law Enforcement model Shane. 163070LE - the standard model is the 103070. There is no difference in the pistols, the LE model is just designated LE by the manufacturer and may have extra accessories in the package such as a holster etc.
