I just purchased my Shield a couple of weeks ago and haven't had a chance to take it to a range and see what it can actually do. Before I purchased the Shield it did some research online as well as asking questions of present owners about performance

So far I have been very pleased with this pistol. It is accurate, reliable, and pleasant to shoot. Laser was Easy to adjust and has held zero so far.

I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but it appears good. I would have like to be able to take the laser off and not had it integrated on the gun. Otherwise, I would give it a great rating.

Laser integrated into frame now!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive this. The laser is now integrated into the frame, not an "add on". To replace the battery you just take the slide & barrel off to gain access to the battery compartment. Press the ambi laser button once

While I have not shot it yet, the trigger pull and feel are a vast improvement over the 1st generation. The laser adds only a minimal amount of bulk. I can still fit the muzzle end into the coin pocket/watch pocket of my jeans.
