Frank - There is a manual 'thumb' safety on this pistol, and it does have the 'hold open' feature after last round in mag is fired, so slide will stay open.

Frank, yes Sir. This Taurus G2C does have a "Manual Safety" and the slide does lock back on the last round fired.
In that particular caliber it looks like the 5.5 in is all bud's has. There are some of the cattleman's in different calibers but other than that just the 5.5. Their number is (859) 368-0371 but it looks like there isn't much else in stock for the cattlem

Yes Thomas it is .. You must have been watching You tube videos on the G2c, eh? I saw that - it wasn't rust, it was actually the factory preservative applied to prevent any corrosion. Things like that are why one can;t always just accept whatever they see
