I've had two Taurus pistols. Neither was a good choice for me. Yes, Taurus has great customer service because they service A LOT of their product. I'd stay away from Taurus, but many swear by the gun...not me.

You can hate on Taurus all you want, i have never had any issues with them at all. I love this little cannon. After 200rds 38spl, +p, and 357mag no problems. Buds service was exellent as always.

Don't buy this gun, go with the more expensive S&W Model 649. I could not pull back the hammer ,because it was so tight, so no single action practice could be had. Double action pull was terrible.
