The PT809 is better than expected. Needed a slight sight adjustment . Only thing that was a little strange was the magazine seemed a little loose in the gun. Put a small o-ring at the base of the magazine and firmed it right up. Other then that. Reasonabl

Though many say Taurus doesn't make a good firearm, I must say that the Taurus 809 is a great looking pistol, and actually feels good in your hand. The Novak sites are great sites, the gun shoots nice also, love the ambidextrous mag release, and decocker.

Very well put together and comfortable handgun. Shots true to target for myself.

I have had zero failures in the 600 rounds fired.I have fired steel,aluminum,and 124gr cast reloads.I enjoy shooting this handgun and do not regret purchase.worth the money.

Can't believe what a nice gun this is, for under $300.00. Only thing I had to do was put rubber bands around base of magazines so they won't wiggle, easy fix. Nice Novak sights, easy takedown, accurate shooter. Shoots as well as my Ruger American or Beret

Love it, never failed to function, front sight came loose after a couple years, not hard to fix. Impossible to beat for the money
