The 1873 clone is the most widely used rifle in Cowboy Action Shooting. All gunsmiths familiar with CAS will have extensive experience with the Uberti, and will be able to "slick it up" to any degree you desire. The rifles come from the factory with truly

It's on at 100 yards right out of the box. My 1860 Henry, 1866 Winchester and 1892 Winchester clones are all chambered in the 45 LC and I thought I would try this one out in .357. Im glad I did and it is a must have for anyone that loves the Old West .

This gun is fun to shoot ... not a problem other then wow the barrel will wear out your left arm .. man this gun is HEAVY but very well made . shoots 38 or 357 .. almost to pretty to take to the field for fear of scratching it up

Very nice and well made rifle, the color case receiver and lever look great, and the blued octagonal barrel compliments it nicely. Shoots .38 special reloads perfectly, and has a very smooth action. Well worth the money.
