Thompson T/CR22 Complete Specs and Full Gun Specifications
The Ruger® 10/22® has been one of the most popular .22s in the world for decades…but it's not perfect. With the T/CR22, Thompson/Center® aimed to solve some of the 10/22's shortcomings while preserving its look, feel, and basic operation. The T/CR22 features the same robust blowback action, but with a few tweaks. First, the knurled stainless bolt can be released to chamber a round by giving it a tug rearward and releasing it. No need to fiddle with the 10/22's tiny blade. Even better, the factory 10-rd. magazine actually locks the bolt back on the last shot. As a nice little bonus, your 10/22 magazines will work flawlessly with the T/CR22 (but the bolt won't lock back on the last shot). The receiver features an integral Picatinny rail, so all you need to mount a scope is rings. If you prefer to use the irons, you'll notice that the rear peep sight has been moved to the rear of the receiver, giving you an extra 6" or so of sight radius to work with. Combined with the bright green fiber optic front sight, it's a nice one-two for precision targeting. Additionally, the barrel comes from the factory with 1/2x28 threading, so it's ready for a suppressor right out of the gate.

February 9, 2022I believe this rifle will become a classic. Even though it’s basically a copy of the Ruger 10/22 it has a couple of better features.
