The Snake Fluted Rimfire model features a 20.5" Snake Fluted barrel (overall length with optional Snake Comp). The Snake Flute is not a spiral (helical) flute nor is it a conventional straight flute, but a completely new, unique method of cutting flutes. Snake Fluting is a set of flutes that are positioned around the barrel to provide unsurpassed rigidity and longitudinal stiffness. The Snake Flutes also increase surface area (even more so than conventional straight flutes) to help cool the barrel during long, rapid fire strings. The optional Snake Comp is designed to direct gases and noise away from the shooter. Receiver Stainless steel CNC machined receiver with threaded in barrel. Action Blow-back action.
