Very smooth operation. Pistol shoots very easy. Trigger pull is very lite after the first shot. The first shot is a longer trigger pull very easy. After that their is very little movement of the trigger and it shoots. The slide is easy and smooth to pull

for me being a 22lr I would say no to the laser unless your carry gun had a laser and you were using this as a low cast training tool. In a bedside gun used in a low light situation I could se a laser being a real advantage
