The Vanguard Series 2 Sporter features a walnut, Monte Carlo stock, and a blued barrel and receiver. The Vanguard Series 2 has a fluted bolt with a cocking indicator, a three-position safety that gives the user the option of loading and unloading the rifle while on safe, and the ability to lock the bolt closed on safe while carrying the rifle over rough terrain. A hinged floorplate allows for quick and safe unloading of the magazine.
