After shooting trap for a year with with a field gun I finally got a "real" trap gun, the SXP Trap.

Save up Your money and buy a better trap gun

I know that the Winchester sxp is a entry level trap gun. It does go bang and hits the targets. The stock is nice and looks good. Its internals are rough, doesn't load easy, doesn't cycle easy, trigger pull is lousy. When I bought a better quality shotgun

The Winchester SXP Trap is a great beginning trap gun! Low cost and easy to use. Accurate! The trigger can be hesitant and the cycling stopped after about years use had to send it back for repair. I would recommend it for new shooter.

Awesome shotgun for an amazing price!! Great for skeet and trap. I use it for clays and it's great. I saw some reviews of the pump action not being smooth but I have no problem.

I love this gun right out of the box it performed flawlessly, I shoot a tristar tt15 unsingle and do great with it. This gun is one helluva buy for a backup. Buds gun shop is #1 on all aspects!
